We understand the importance of hosting an enjoyable day of golf and camaraderie that each of your guests will remember for years to come.

Player satisfaction is of first importance. Our staff will work hand in hand with your committee to assure the event suits your needs to a tee.

Aberdeen Provilion set up for an outingAberdeen has outdoor seating for up to 100 golfers in the pavilion, which can be "weatherproofed" in the event of inclement weather. Steaks, chicken or other items may be prepared in our large barbeque oven for a great meal after golf, or the event may be catered.

Our experienced staff will be happy to assist you with all the following and more if needed:

  • Fundraising ideas and suggestions
  • Obtaining and placing sponsor signs
  • Merchandise and prizes
  • Registration and prize tables
  • Bag service
  • Scorecard and golf cart preparation and identification
  • Scoring the event

Reservation Procedure

The event proposal form and event contract must be returned to the Aberdeen GolfClub General Manager along with a $250.00 deposit to formally reserve your event date(s).


Tournament Pricing

Weekday Pricing

Monday – Thursday Full Golf Course Shotgun Event (Minimum 120 players) - $40.00 per person – Includes Green Fee, Cart Fee, and Range Balls

Friday Full Golf Course Shotgun Event (Minimum 120 players) - $42.00 per person – Includes Green Fee, Cart Fee, and Range Balls

Weekend Pricing

Weekend or Holiday Afternoon Full Golf Course Shotgun Event (Minimum 120 players) - $53.00 per player - 1:30 P.M. Shotgun Start – Includes Green Fee, Cart Fee, and Range Balls

Note: The above tournament pricing is based on four players per group. Our tournament pricing also includes scoring, cart tags, scorecard preparation and professional tournament set up.

A maximum of 72 carts, 1 beverage cart, and 2 miscellaneous carts are available for any group event; if more golf carts are required, Aberdeen Golf Club will charge $35.00 per cart for rental carts.


Shotgun Event Regulations

All events are required to start according to the following times:

Deadlines

Golf Pairings – Event pairings (players names, grouped by teams) are necessary in order to properly prepare scorecards, score-sheets, bag tags, and cart tags for the event. Team pairings are to be submitted no later than 5 business days prior to the event in order to guarantee the services mentioned above. Our staff is available to assist with the pairings process upon request.

Payment

The event director or representative must collect all fees from the participants. The event director or representative will then be responsible for payment to Aberdeen Golf Club. 100% of the estimated charges (as furnished by the General Manager) must be paid in full not later than the beginning of the event.

Playing Formats

In the interest of maintaining a proper pace of play, all playing formats must be approved by the Aberdeen Golf Club General Manager. It is recommended that a “Scramble” format be used.

Golf Shop Merchandise

Competitive pricing on stock and special order merchandise is offered to all outings. Gift certificates (popular to most golfers) are available for use in the Aberdeen Golf Shop. Contact the General Manager for more information.

Dress Code

Aberdeen Golf Club PREFERS soft spikes.

Proper golf attire is required at Aberdeen Golf Club. Collared shirts are required. Swimming suits and/or cut-off shorts are not permitted. Men must wear shirts with sleeves. Halter-tops and tank tops are not permitted.

Private Coolers and Beverages

Private coolers and beverages are not permitted at Aberdeen Golf Club.


Guarantees and Confirmation

The number of players indicated on the event contract, upon confirmation, is the number of players guaranteed. The contract and tournament checklist must be returned to the General Manager along with a $250.00 deposit within a minimum of 60 days prior to the event. An event is not considered reserved until Aberdeen Golf Club receives the signed contract and deposit. Changes made to the number of players guaranteed must be made no later than 7 days prior to the event. No reduction in the number of players guaranteed can be made within the 7 days prior to the event. Minimum charge is 100% of the guaranteed number of players given 7 days prior.

Cancellations

Written cancellations must be received by the General Manager at least 60 days prior to the scheduled date of the golf event in order for a full deposit refund to be issued.

Written cancellations received by the General Manager less than 60 days prior to the scheduled date will forfeit the tournament deposit.

Cancellations, verbal or written, received by the General Manager less than 30 days prior to the scheduled date of the golf event will result in a bill for 50% of the total charge agreed upon in the original confirmation letter and signed event contract.

Rain Dates

Aberdeen Golf Club will not pre-book rain dates; should the Golf Course Superintendent close the golf course prior to play for any reason, rescheduling of the event will then be addressed. In the event that the course is closed after the event has started, the following will apply:

0-4 holes begun.....................Every player will receive an 18 hole rain check

5-13 holes begun...................Every player will receive a 9 hole rain check

14 or more holes begun.........Players will not receive a rain check


Food & Beverage Guarantees

Guarantees of minimum attendance for all food functions must be made at least seven days in advance. Guarantees cannot be reduced. Minimum charges are 100% of the guarantee. If the General Manager does not receive a guaranteed number, the original number booked will be final. Event directors or representative must account for all volunteers and/or workers with their event. Aberdeen Golf Club assumes no responsibility for shortages of food.

Rain Outs

In the event the golf outing is rained out and the golf course is closed, all food and beverage arrangements will be provided as planned with no refunds available.



Other Food & Beverage Information

"The Birdie" - $8.00 per person

The Birdie is a buffet and can be served either before or after the event. It includes barbeque hamburgers and bratwursts, potato chips, dessert and fountain beverage.

"The Eagle" - $12.00 per person

The Eagle is a buffet and can be served either before or after the event. It includes barbeque hamburgers and chicken breasts, potato salad, cole slaw, dessert and fountain beverage.

"The Ace" - $18.00 per person

The Ace is a buffet and can be served either before or after the event. It includes choice of two: (chicken breast, Pork Steak or 8 oz. Strip Steak), potato salad, cole slaw, baked beans, dessert and fountain beverage.

The above food and beverage fees do not include gratuity (15%)


Beer

Event participants may purchase cans of beer at their discretion for $2.50 per can. If the event chooses to pre-purchase cases of beer prior to the event, the total number of cases must be provided to the General Manager 7 days in advance. the cost per case for events is $30.00 per case.

Donated Food and Beer

If an event chooses to provide donated food and/or beer, and extra $5.00 will be added to the total per person cost of the event. Under no circumstances can bottles beer or liquor of any kind be brought to Aberdeen Golf Club - NO EXCEPTIONS - Any items not authorized by Aberdeen Golf Management will be confiscated and not returned.
